# Outward Transfers

The Outward Transfer feature enables users to initiate bank transfers from their accounts to other bank accounts. This interface provides a user-friendly way to process interbank transfers while maintaining security and accuracy.

You can also print/download outward transaction receipts and re-query a user transaction status from the action column.

## Initiate an Outward Transfer

1. Click on the **Add** button located at the page's top left.
2. Input your search criteria. You can search by **Account Number**, **Account Name**, **Customer ID** or **Reference Number**.
3. &#x20;Fill in the following **Transfer Details:**
   * Amount: Enter the transfer amount in the designated field.
   * Beneficiary Bank: Select from the dropdown menu.
   * Beneficiary Account Number: Enter the recipient's account number.
   * Narration: Add a description or purpose for the transfer.
4. Click **Next** to continue.
5. Fill in the Transaction Summary details.&#x20;
6. Click **Submit** to initiate the transaction.
7. Confirm the action by clicking the **“Yes, I want to proceed”** button.
