# Validate NIN

The "ValidateNIN" endpoint allows customers to validate a customer's National Identification Number (NIN) and retrieve the NIN holder's full identity profile, including biodata, contact details, and residential information. Use this when you need to confirm a NIN is valid and retrieve the record tied to it, for example during customer onboarding or KYC checks.

To validate a NIN, provide the `nin` to check in the request body.
