# Batch Loan Creation

The Batch Loan Creation page allows you to create multiple loan accounts at once by uploading a pre-formatted spreadsheet file. This is useful when onboarding a large number of loan customers simultaneously, removing the need to create each loan account individually. This guide will walk you through the batch loan creation process.

## Accessing Batch Loan Creation

1. Log into the application using your credentials.
2. From the dashboard, navigate to **Data Upload** in the side menu.
3. Expand **Data Upload** and Select **Batch Loan Creation** from the dropdown list

## Creating Loan Accounts in Bulk

1. Click **Download Batch Loan Format** to download the pre-formatted spreadsheet template
2. Populate the template with your loan data and save the file in [**.xlsx**](/core-features/data-upload/batch-loan-creation.md#creating-loan-accounts-in-bulk) **format**
3. Click **Browse** or **drag and drop** the completed file into the upload area
4. Click **Upload** to submit the file and create the loan accounts
