# Batch Account Officer Reassign

The Batch Acct Officer Reassign page allows you to move multiple accounts from one account officer to another in a single operation by uploading a pre-formatted spreadsheet file. This is particularly useful during staff transitions or portfolio rebalancing, where a large number of accounts need to be reassigned at once. This guide will walk you through the batch account officer reassignment process.

## Accessing Batch Acct Officer 

1. Log into the application using your credentials.
2. From the dashboard, navigate to **Data Upload** in the side menu.
3. Expand **Data Upload** and Select **Batch Acct Officer**  from the dropdown list

## Reassigning Account Officers in Bulk

1. Select the new **Account Officer** from the dropdown, this is the officer the accounts will be reassigned to
2. Click **Download Account Officer Reassignment Format** to download the pre-formatted spreadsheet template
3. Populate the template with your account data and save the file in [**.xlsx**](/core-features/data-upload/batch-account-officer-reassign.md#reassigning-account-officers-in-bulk) **format**
4. Click **Browse** or **drag and drop** the completed file into the upload area
5. Click **Reassign** Account Officer to submit

> :pushpin:You must select the new Account Officer before uploading your file. Both the current and new officer IDs must exist in the system, and all account numbers in the file must be active.
