# Pre-Generate Accounts

The Pre-Generate Accounts page allows you to generate a batch of account numbers in advance for a selected product, without yet linking them to specific customers. This is useful during migration preparation, where a defined number of account numbers need to be reserved for a particular product before the customer data is uploaded. This guide will walk you through the pre-generation process.

## Accessing Pre-Generate Accounts

1. Log into the application using your credentials.
2. From the dashboard, navigate to **Data Migration** in the side menu.
3. Expand **Data Migration** and Select **Pre-Generate Accounts** from the dropdown list

## Pre-Generating Account Numbers

1. Select the **Product Code** from the dropdown; this is the product for which account numbers will be pre-generated
2. Enter the **number of accounts** to generate in the Counts field
3. Click **Generate**, a confirmation modal will appear asking: **"Are you sure you want to Pre-Generate Accounts?"**
4. Click **confirm** to proceed
