# GL Balance

The GL Balance page allows you to migrate existing General Ledger account balances into Udara360 by uploading a pre-formatted spreadsheet file. This ensures that GL balances from a previous system are accurately carried over into the platform during migration. This guide will walk you through the migration process.

## Accessing GL Balance

1. Log into the application using your credentials.
2. From the dashboard, navigate to **Data Migration** in the side menu.
3. Expand **Data Migration** and Select **GL Balance** from the dropdown list

## Migrating GL Balances

1. Click **Download GL Balance Migration Format** to download the pre-formatted spreadsheet template
2. Populate the template with your GL balance data and save the file in **.xlsx** format
3. Click **Browse** or **drag and drop** the completed file into the upload area
4. Click **Upload** to submit the file and migrate the balances
